LIVE PAINTING BY RESIDENT ARTIST "CARLOS VERA"
A native of Los Angeles, California, Carlos Raphael Vera ,
was raised in Southern CA with his
father, Rosendo Vera, a Los Angeles based fine artist and commercial illustrator.
His Father is
where he would receive most of his inspiration and encouragement in pursuing his art. During
his senior year of high school, Carlos applied and was accepted to the School of the Museum
of Fine Arts in Boston, Massachusetts.
His talent soon found him work in the film industry,
designing sets, props, costumes, etc., as a conceptual artist, and with exhibitions of his
fine art. Carlos opened up an Art Gallery (Our Story), which he used as a personal showing
space and a starting point for a youth arts organization in 2001, California Artists for Humanity.
Carlos Vera is currently designing interiors for a variety of clients, including nightclubs,
restaurants, and residential interiors. Carlos develops a theme-based concept with each
individual client. His mission is not just too create an original environment, it is also too
express the clients persona into the environment.
